    About the role


    As the Director of CheapCaribbean Strategy and Execution, you play an integral role in the success of CheapCaribbean, working across the organization to help drive the success of the business.   This is a broad role that encompasses understanding and driving all aspects of the business, including pricing, website design, consumer insight, supply strategy, marketing, and overall business strategy.  The role reports directly to the President, BeachBound and CheapCaribbean, and will serve as his representative at many senior-level meetings.


    • Monitor and drive overall business performance, working to understand key levers and how we can improve. Includes revenue, bookings, site analytics, etc.
    • Work closely with key cross-functional leaders to drive CheapCaribbean’s business
    • Lead overall strategy development & roadmap of CheapCaribbean in coordination with the President and other key stakeholders
    • Develop and evaluate business cases for key CheapCaribbean initiatives
    • Lead key vendor evaluation and selection
    • Track and monitor initiatives, help solve problems and escalate where necessary to remove roadblocks
    • Update senior leaders and ALG leadership on progress periodically
    • Lead product / site / user experience roadmap efforts for, including coordinating with key stakeholders
    • Lead pricing and inventory strategy
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders, specifically marketing and call center teams to drive cross-functional initiatives


    • Solid interpersonal skills (externally and internally at all levels)
    • Strong analytical skills, including experience developing sophisticated business cases
    • Demonstrated experience presenting clear, concise recommendations outlining alternatives and key decision criteria
    • Solid understanding of marketing attribution and web analytics
    • Strong written and oral communication skills


    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Statistics or other quantitative field
    • 2 years of top-tier management consulting experience required (post-MBA strongly preferred)
    • MBA or master’s degree strongly preferred
    • 5+ years experience working in high-performance, analytically-driven roles
    • Fast learner, able and willing to acquire new technical skills as needed
    • Demonstrated experience presenting clear, concise recommendations, with appropriate supporting evidence
